Sketch Noting con Paper 53

Aparte de hacer sketch noting con papel de verdad la clase hizo otro sketch note pero en forma digital. utilizamos el programa/app ¨Paper 53.¨ Me gusto mucho! Es simple de usar y si te organizas bien puedes producir algo muy bonito!
El tema que yo escogí era ¨Los 10 Mejores Paises del Mundo. ¨ La información es sacada de mi opinión propia mas la información recaudada de varios sitios de Internet. También un pequeña encuesta a varios de mis compañeros de clase.

Skype Call with Lissa Layman: Visual Literacy

Today we connected with Lissa Layman and Jeff- her husband, experts in Visual Literacy. Visual Literacy is using images and such things to communicate thoughts and ideas. We learned about the importance of using visuals and how they can enhance our learning.

We are in a Dual language program and found that many of the things they mentioned were already being applied in our DL Tech classroom. An example is the website Canva. They spoke about using Visual Literacy to communicate with people that do not speak our language.


It makes the saying ¨A picture is worth a thousand words¨ valid.
Also, I thought it was very cool to know that they have had to opportunity to travel to over 20 countries. Traveling to this extent is is definitely a goal I have and one of the reasons I know it is important to be bilingual or multilingual.
